Company introductionAs the first mobile telecommunications network in Vietnam, MobiFone was established on April 16, 1993 with the initial name of Mobile Communication Company (VMS). On December 1, 2014, MobiFone was transformed into MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation, under the Ministry of Information and Communications. In November 2018, MobiFone was transferred the right to represent the owner to the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises.

In Vietnam, MobiFone is one of the largest Telecommunications – Information Technology – Digital Content enterprises, the first mobile information network provider, with more than 30% market share.
