The Asia Smart Cities International Forum and Exhibition officially opened today, April 17, at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center – SECC District 7.<\/p>\n

The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Communications, and Exporum Vietnam Company coordinated with the Vietnam Automation Association, Vietnam Digital Communications Association, Ho Chi Minh City Informatics Association, and the Institute of Creativity and Digital Transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Duong Anh Duc, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, said that the Forum and exhibition are an opportunity for leading domestic and international managers and experts to meet and exchange, sharing orientations, strategies, solutions and practical management tools in the Smart City development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

The event takes place for 3 days (April 17 to 19) at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center – SECC, District 7.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Smart City Asia 2024 International Exhibition – Smart City Asia 2024 brings together 800 booths and more than 500 businesses from many countries with many main topics such as technologies and application solutions in Smart Cities clear as:<\/p>\n

Smart homes, CCTV, AIoT, semiconductor technology, finance – smart payment, smart buildings, smart lighting, Green Energy, green technology in smart manufacturing, Robots…<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Duc Long recognizes that smart urban development is an inevitable trend and has determined policies and guidelines from the highest level. What we need to do is implement it practically and effectively in the long term to achieve the goal of sustainable development.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is also a great opportunity for state management agencies, experts and the business community to exchange and discuss issues and solutions in sustainable smart city development, the Deputy Minister affirmed.<\/p>\n
